Follow sequence progression in MLB

Follow sequence progression in MLB is based on betting on this result, which a team achieve in the last game. If a team won in the last game - you bet on a win. If a team lost - you bet on a loss.

So it’s a completely different method than the sequence breaking progression. You win while your team win or lose in a row. In other methods long sequences are a nightmare, but here are very welcome.

Of course the risk are long alternate sequences, e.g., win, loss, win etc. Following sequence progression finishes, when a team win or lose two games in a row.

A real life example

Now I’d like to show you, how to carry on such progression in real life. Let’s assume that you chose Atlanta and ₤10 as your regular profit. You began progression on 2nd April 2011.

On 1st level you bet on Atlanta, because this team won in the previous game. Unfortunately Atlanta lost it, so you lose and go to 2nd level. Then you bet on Washington. However Atlanta win this game and you lose once again. You are now on the 3rd level and you bet on Atlanta. This time Atlanta win and you finish your progression on the 3rd level. You earn ₤10. Quite simple isn't it?

Useful tools

You can use our MLB Statistics to choose the best teams for this progression method. You can find there ‘Kind of sequence’ drop down menu. Select ‘alternate (WLWL)’ item from it. You’ll see an unique statistics of alternate sequences for all of the MLB teams. Of course you should pick teams with the shortest sequences.

Even if you look at the statistics just for a while, you’ll definitely notice some teams with HAS ( the highest alternate sequence)  equals just 5 or 6 games. Following sequence progression is a great choice for such teams.

If you want to find teams with such short sequences, but in the couple of seasons, you can use our MLB statistics explorer. This tool gives an opportunity to find teams according to your statistical criteria.

Also a very useful would be the MLB Manager. Besides the main futures, such as calculating stakes, profits, reminding about your progressions, it would also tell you on which result bet in the next game within your following sequence progression.
